Dreams
Written by - Langston Huges ( 1902- 1967)
Hold fast to dreams
For if dreams die
Life is a broken- winged bird
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.
Answer
Theme: Dreams fondle a noteworthy role in human life. They boost men to reach their desired goals. So people should hold fast to their dreams because if dreams are lost forever, life becomes meaningless like a broken-winged bird. And, also it becomes a barren field covered with snow from nobody can expect any crop or benefit.
Dreams
written by D H Lawrence (1885- 1930)
All people dream,but not equally.
Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind,(যারা রাতের বেলা স্বপ্ন দেখে, তাদের মনের ধূলিমলিন গহীনে,)
Wake in the morning to find that it was vanity.
But dreamers of the day are dangerous people,( কিন্তু জাগ্রত স্বপ্নবাজরা সাংঘাতিক লোক)
For they dream their dream with open eyes,(কারণ তারা তাদের স্বপ্ন দেখে জাগ্রত চোখে)
And make them come true.(এবং সেই স্বপ্নকে সত্যি করে)
