 ARTICLE   Articles are words that define a noun as specific or unspecific. যে Word Nounএর পূর্বে বসে ঐ Noun এর আকার সংকুচিত করে দেয়,তাকে Article বলে । Example: i)Rabin’s mother is a seamstress. ii) Sufia Kamal is an author. iii)Tanvir gave me the book. উপরের Sentence গুলোতে a,anএবং the– এই Word তিনটি যথাক্রমে  seamstress, author,এবং book –এই তিনটি্র পূর্বে বসে এদের আকার সংকুচিত করে দিচ্ছে। সুতরাং a, an এবং the হলো Article বা পদাশ্রিত নির্দেশক।                Meaning Of Article a = একটি, একজন (যেমনঃ একজন মেয়ে দরজি, একটি বই।) an =  একটি, একজন (যেমনঃ একজন লেখক/লেখিকা, একটি আপেল।) the = টা,টি, খানা,খানি(টাকাটা, বাড়িটি,কাপড় খানা, বই খানি।    Article এর প্রকারভেদ   Article দুই প্রকার। যথা :                       1.Indefinite                       2.Definite  Indefinite Article :   Indefinite অর্থ - অনিদিষ্ট।  A এবং An   হলো   indefinite   Article। কারন, এ word দুটি Noun এর পূর্বে বসে ঐ  Noun  কে অনিদিষ্টভাবে চিহ
